Black cherry tomato, Lycopersicon esculentum
Bred in Florida by the late Vince Sapp, the round, 20 gm. fruits are a pleasant purple-brown color. Regarded as one of the best tasting tomatoes. High yielding. Try as we may, we haven't found a hybrid that can beat Black Cherry.
